Beltrami

Marie (1945). French designer. Starting in the mid 1970s she made jewellery, items for daily use, and fashion accessories. In 1978, she created her own brand. Between 1980 and 1981 she worked for Fiorucci, and the following year she launched her own line. At the end of 1988 she left her brand griffe to work as a costume designer for Jean-Paul Goude, who was responsible for the great, creative parade of 14th July 1989, the bicentennial of the French Revolution. Together with Goude she made advertising spots for Chanel perfumes and Perrier Spring water.
The designer exhibits at BHV Rivoli, in Paris. This artistic event, organized by Andrée Putman, is held on the fourth floor of the entirely renovated department store. Thirteen artists are invited to show their work in this singular alliance between art and shopping.
