Be.Mi.Va.

Spinning mill near Prato. Established in 1960 in Capalle, it has gone through several phases — from viscose in the 1980s to creative yarns in the early 1990s — resulting in a steady specialization in the manufacture of fanciful yarns for knitwear. The creation of Be.Mi.Va.-tex dates to the middle of the last decade. This was a new line of yarns meant for the orthogonal fabrics with which the factory made its début at Filo in 1998. At present the company employs about 40 in-house workers and works with various associated factories in addition to outside consultants. It participates in the major industry trade fairs, including Pitti Filati, Expofil, Filasia and Filo.
