Baeza

Guillermina Baeza was a designer born in Tangiers, Morocco, and now about 60. She is a designer possessed of great inspiration, thanks to the mixture of races and culture in her native country and to the education she received in Europe. In the 1960s she moved to Barcelona and created her first swimwear and underwear lines. During the 1980s she made her début at the Pasarela Gaudì in Barcelona and presented her prêt-à-porter line in Paris. At the end of 1998 she joined the industrial group Pulligan Internacional. There she started another swimwear line, called Lola Escobar, and a children’s line, called Guillermina Baeza Children. She draws inspiration from recent decades, especially the years of the 1970s, with their abundance of geometric prints. She has been able to give equal importance to underwear and outerwear.
