Ars Rosa

Women’s underwear boutique in Milan. From the shop’s first day in 1952, the window displays told passersby that Ars Rosa by Bettina Rossi would be the home of exquisite taste in lingerie, almost all in pure silk, shiny satin and linen blends, embellished by hand embroidery, valencienne lace and broderies anglaises. There were made-to-measure dressing gowns of tricot cashmere, warm, soft, and very beautiful in the brightest colors. The shop also offered baptism outfits for babies, and items for the trousseau, all handmade, of course.
