Her history

Nadia Amiralai is a Belgian designer, born from German mother and Syrian father. She successfully completed a four-year class in fashion design at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts, in Antwerp, winning several awards for her end-of-the-year collections, among which was the Christine Mathijs Prize for her Ovaron collection: this is a particularly prestigious prize because it is awarded by Dries Van Noten, a one of the most renowned Belgian fashion designers.

The Ovaron Collection included clothes inspired by the history of a life: written texts were affixed to the garments, alongside with illustrations, travel documents and small objects. Her style is influenced by her roots and by colors and fabrics from the Arab world.
