ALEK IS AN ACCESSORY BRAND FOUNDED BY THE MODEL OF SUDANESE ORIGIN ALEK WEK

 

Alek arrived in London with her younger sister to escape the civil war that was raging in her country. She was noticed by a talent scout on a street of the British capital.

In 1997 she was portrayed on the cover of Elle America and soon she was consecrated as a star, declared “model of the decade” by the i-D monthly magazine. In 1999, People Magazine listed her among the fifty most beautiful people in the world.

She walks the catwalk for great fashion designers and also deals with humanitarian causes.
