ICARIUS DE MENEZES (1975) IS A BRAZILIAN STYLIST

Icarius de Menezes is a Brazilian stylist born in Curitiba in 1975. He studied fashion design at the Santa Marcelina school in São Paulo. His talent exploded for the first time in one of the school’s fashion shows, when he presented a collection with a provocative name, “My mother’s cancer”. His debut on international catwalks coincided with the spring-summer collection 2001, presented in Paris. He proposed mystical images of new Saints, a reflection of Senhora Aparecida do Brazil, with sensual and sophisticated lines. In March 2022 he won Enkamania, an international project for the research of new fashion designers promoted by Enka, the world leader in the production of yarns, in collaboration with the National Chamber of Italian fashion. After Enzo Fusco’s abandonment, in April 2003 he was chosen as the new creative director of all the lines of the Roman brand Lancetti. After that, he worked as the creative director for Diesel. Then he resigned and studied and created his new project, “DNA of Icarius”.
